thats a reallyl good idea…..why are they tearing down macintire park?…well never the less we should see if there willing to give us some of the old stuff or give it to us for a reduced price.

Hey garth lets see if we could contact Doug from the Ben & Jerrys. i’m sure he would let us help raising money for the park while letting us work for him in the consessions. Besides that Caleb was telling me about a group in UVA that was gonna give charlottesville some money for the mac park up there. now that there tearing it down why don’t we see if we can use it. Or better yet, why don’t we ask charlottswille if we can use the some of the stuff macintire had????? HAHA we are geniuses

To get some extra money we could do some fundraising like work bingo in lynchburg and maybe even concesions for uva. Also im sure someone with the funds would be willing to throw some free money our way.

I have made flyers for skatenelson.org and plan to distribute throught Nelson County High School today(monday) and post them up on the walls hopefully we can have alot more people join.As in concrete or wood park i think it should be wood, it doesnt need as much maintenance and its smooth to skate on,and as in site i think that the old basketball court at the community center would be a ncie spot.

well I ordered myself a skatenelson board. I think that we definately should get the sub commitee together and present our proposal. also we need to start looking for business sponsors and donations.
