Back to funding, I checked the Tony Hawk Skatepark Foundation website and we apparently have missed the deadline for summer grants (not for winter grants though). Our project really did seem to fit the criteria for a donation, but unless they are willing to make an exception about the deadline we may have to take on most of the brunt of fundraising ourselves. That sounds like progress to me, and it’s awesome to see that so much of an initiative is being taken on this project.
